Hi there,

I have a ps2 V12 Slim with ghost2 mod chip.
Today I burn God of war and GT4 on Verbatim DVD+DL.
The games are working great.
I used:

The toxic patch for both games,
2 Verbatim DVD's +DL
I changed the booktype to DVD-Rom (Important)

A friend told me that if I use these backup copies on my ps2 slim for over a month, it will destroy my laser len as the media on the dual disk is differend from the pressed DVD9's
Is this correct? Is my ps2 slim in danger if I use the verbatim dual layer backup games?
