I hope someone can help me out becuase i am pulling my hair out. :) even as we speak.
I have an NEC ND-2510A DVD dual layer recorder and i am using DVD lab pro. The disc that i am using to burn is a Ricoh dvd+r double layer.
After compiling the DVD, i try and burn the image to the disc but it keeps spitting out the DVD saying "unknown medium". other error messages come up from time to time in red saying " ERR: MEDIUM REMOVAL PREVENTED", and it also states that the current medium is empty.
The reason why we chose to use Dual layer was because there is too much work to fit on a normal DVD. We did do a couple of burning tests before hand when it could fit on a normal DVD and they worked perfectly fine. It just seems that when we tried to burn it to Dual Layer we were getting the problems so i dont think it has anything to do with my DVD drive.
If you could help me out i would kiss the ground you walk on. :)
I look forward to any suggestions and i hope that what i have written isnt too complicated, becuase it sure as hell sounds complicated to me.
Thanx,

Chris
