i would like to know if there is a dvd-dl so i can back up gran turismo 4, not dvd+dl, i have a -r burner

There is a new dvd-dl format,
but you would need a new -dl burner to use them.

Only certain ps2 modchips running the Toxic bios,
can read + or - dl discs anyway,

So if your using swap magic it wont work anyway.

I used to think this was true too but I have just found out today that there is a patcher which you patch DL isos with before you burn them to make them work on any modchip. the toxic dual layer patcher.
someone told me about this today so I thought I'd share the knowledge.
