Hi,

I've got a backup of that game, it isn't playable, it's agenizingly slow and I have tried rebuilding it, it shrunk to just under 3Gb, that was no frigg'n good! it never loaded cause of dat.

I'm thinking there must be some kinda smartass protection within some sectors on disc, half of the total size dvd size isn't in any files!, so i must be hidden or somthin.

Is anyone have a clue to this problem, or this game is just an utter Arsehole!!.

Thx

Hey wargamer, im afraid wargames arnt my specially so i havent backed many of them up. (At least, not yet)

you should try a standard 1:1 copy just using DVD Decrypter and burn at a slow speed, i recomment 4x. The game might not need to be rebuild. Try it out.

In the meantime, Ill look around and try get some info for you.

I made simply 1:1 copy with DVD Decrypter and burned 2x (as I always do with PS2 games), works fine. Maybe your backup is already screwed up.

Hey Black ice, that's exactly what i did in the first place, i just burned it with Dvd Decrypter or are u talkin about a Nero 1:1 copy. I burnt it at 2.4x on a DVD+R, my PS seems 2 be nosier and slower with +R and runs heaps betta on dvd-r.

Romero you have a chip have you eva tried SM, a mod of course would play a copies decently accurate and probably much cleaner than Swapmag. Ahrg i guess if i had a chip that would fix it?.

The strange thing with this is i've tried rebuilding it, cause i use SM 3, and tha rebuilt size was 2.4Gb, but doing that stuffs it up completly for some reason n doesn't boot!. I even made sure hell i placed files in DVDGEN 1.5 like Iso buster showd. I think i'll jes give up then.

These the main probs im havin:

1. Loads extremly slow and play!,
2. Playable, but.. sluggish and timely

BTW, I have a 'Conflict Vietnam' backup, and had no probs what so ever and plays perfectly!. So it must a few that do that.

Thx
