i cant run check disk on my C drive without the blue screen showing up. It begins (about 3%) then goes to blue screen. What can I do to fix it? I have Media Center Operating sytem.

do you actually mean scandisk not chkdsk??

i typed in cmd under run got the cmd screen typed in: chkdsk C: /r I reboot then

it starts to check then after about 3-5%

I get the blue screen. Im kind of new to this. So any help is appreciated..
