I've downloaded a game on edonkey, burnt it onto cd and have been trying to play but after going through the installation it keeps telling me to insert disc 1 when it is already in there. Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong or what i need to do. It would be greatly appreciated.

that's basically the copy protection at work on game. you need to either patch the game and burn it again or get a no-cd crack.

that you need to search AD for, as that has been answered many times and a few (very detailed and step-by-step-ish) guids are around here somewhere.

have you looked on the disc for a folder called "crack" or something? if it's not on the cd it's most likely with the packed files the downloaded originally.
or read the .nfo file that came with it

Or, Alternatively, mount the ISO onto a virtual drive using Daemon tools.

ps. Presuming it is an ISO, if not then a NO-CD crack sounds like the only option.
