Alright, I Use Azureus 2.2 on 3MB Cable connection, no router.
Halfway thur a 3 gig torrent getting 50 kb/s down with only 8 seeds on port 55555.
I switched to port 65535 and I'm now at 90 kb/s.
HS, that's alright, but makes no sense to me at all!!
Thanks

I tried it too. Had a small rise immediately afterwards but it soon went back to normal. This can be put down to the normal fluctuations in any download.
There is no reason for this port to be any faster.

Probably the reason for the speed increase in the port change is due too certain isp's throttle the default BT ports, thus using ports like 49152 and 65535 will give a much better speed increase.
