I tried converting my RatDVD file to DVD

I got a message saying 'conversion successful, burn failed'

I found the converted file, and it had a '.disc' file extension that Windows XP has not associated with any program on my hard drive. RatDVD does not recognize the file.

I've tried searching '.disc' file extension and other forms, but no luck.

What am I supposed to do with this file?

[update]

There was a '.disc.1' in the ratDVD file name (title.disc.1)

Could ratDVD have given the converted file a '.disc' extension by accident?

If so, what extension should the output file have?

i have the same problem as well... the file did not burn after conversion, and i was left with a file without an extension..

which i'm sure is what happened to you as well, it's just that the file name was too long i guess to fit in the disc.1 so it just did .disc

so i'm just wondering how i could burn this file onto a dvd-r ... i can view it in Windows Media Player even though it does not have an extension, but i tried burning a UFS data dvd in nero, and it did not play on my dvd player..

I have since deleted the file because I was tired of finding an answer and ratDVD on the whole. I probably should have tried burning it with DVD Decrypter. I don't remember any special options when I right-clicked, but if 'burn with DVD Decrypter' was there, I probably ignored it--I didn't even know Decrypter burnt dvds until I had to burn an .img file and Decrypter was the only thing that could do it, not even Nero, so good luck! ;)

for .img files, you can rename them into .iso and then burn them in Nero, works as well
