I'm trying to find an simple to use program to break up large mp3 files into smaller ones. For example, I have a bunch of "books on tape" that are mp3's of 100Mb+. I want to break them up into smaller chapters.

I don't want a huge program with a steep learning curve.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
