I have a few backed up games that frequently have skipping audio or have effing terrible load times. Is there any software or anything that I can use to work on my ISO's? Any links would be greatly helpful all.

Thanks in advance.

Memorex isn't the best brand out there, but I use 'em too lol. Never heard of DVD Decoder, did you mean DVD Decrypter?

FSUMike, Fisrt STOP USEING MEMOREX DISC, 2nd stop useing R-,and 3rd starting DVD Decrypter to burn your games very easy to use.Start useing veratim disc for your ps2 backups they work the best, and make sure you use R+ not R-, the slim line ps2 has a very hard time reading r- disc just trust me I had to learn the hard way like you. Memorex disc are the worst disc you can use for backing up games there media code is the lowest and this is what tells you how good the disc is, verbatim has the highest witch is why you need to start useing them and you'll never have a problem with skiping or bad audio because of your disc that's for sure. now on to dvd decypter this is a great program to use theres what you do,

Quick way to copy a game. Assuming you have the original game dvd and want to back it up.

step#1

open dvd decryptor then go to MODE>ISO>READ and then it will copy the game and make an iso file on your pc hdd.

Step#2

when that finishes go to MODE>ISO>WRITE and then select the mds file(It's the smaller of the two files) By selecting the mds file all your are tell DVD Decrypter to do is burn the iso file I know it sounds dumb,But trust me. It will burn the iso file to the dvd and presto you have your ps2 back up and your done.

Simple as that.

Haha, yeah, i'm retarded. DVD Decrypter. So what is a good brand disk?

I knew about the simple read/write in DVD Decrypter, but I'm in the process of learning about isobuster and IML2ISO, and programs like that, to break down the ISO, then rebuild it. I'm still not totally understanding the patching stuff though. There seems to be so many ways to get the job done. Once I did the rebuild myself the load times dropped a bit, but the audio is still skipping during gameplay and the FMV's skip around too. Are most DVD burners RW+/RW-, cause I checked the hardware label from my computer it says "DVD-RW Drive, Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R6012"?

Decon954, you and I both know that typing only in CAPS is against the forum rules.

It could be your media, try using Verbatim DataLifePlus. I wouldn't know if most burners are dual format, but your label said DVD-RW. Decon954 mentioned DVD+R's of Verbatim for V12 Slimlines, so you could try those out (if your burner supports +R of course), and always try to get DataLifePlus (the best, seriously lol).

About the rebuilding, which games have you done that to?

I just did it to We Love Katamari Damacy (Minna Daisuki Katamari Damashii). Next will be Red Ninja: End Of Honor, or Star Wars Episode 3. I'll defintely look into getting the other dvd's, the only issue at hand is if I even have hardware that supports that format. Eh. I doubt I do, but whatev, so outside
