PSP Video Trouble

Yeah well i searched and read a ton of threads here and followed the diretions and i connect my PSP to my PC and i go to F:/ then PSP dir and all the dirs that show up are:

Directory: GAME 8/1/2004 4:16:42 AM
Directory: MOVIE 7/18/2005 5:20:04 PM
Directory: MUSIC 8/1/2004 4:16:42 AM
Directory: PHOTO 8/1/2004 4:16:44 AM
Directory: SAVEDATA 8/1/2004 4:16:44 AM

no video so i added the dir "VIDEO" and added my mp4 trailer to it to test and when i go to the "Video" screen on my PSP it says "There are no videos"

Anyone know why? Thanks alot

I read the entine Video section and it did not help me.

Try this, erase the video folder you made, and put the mp4 in the folder called movie. try this and write back.

Just tried naming it movie and still says "There are no movies" does the filename have to be something special? I just have the regular name i used ImTOO PSP Video COnverter.

when u open ur psp drive there shuld be a PSP folder make a new folder next to it and name it MP_ROOT inside that folder make a new one called 100MNV01 and put ur mpeg4 movies in there

I have read all these steps and I still can't see my videos I also have ImToo psp video converter program and I have converted them in to mpeg4's.I also created a folder MP_ROOT right next to the psp folder and inside I also have 100MNV01 and inside of I have inserted the video but I still get the no video on this folder on the psp please help what am I doing wrong

u need to rename it to M4V100XX.MP4 XX being the number u want it to be

Just go to "PSP Sony connect". Google it or whatever. It's there in movie format, the exact way, and even provides a downloadable folder that you can drop mp4's in. It also has a few test movies for you to download. I recommend the nature videos.

Instead of going back and forth on this forum (not understanding what people are talking about) you can watch how to do it first hand.

Someone should write a guide to be sticky just for movie compression and placement.
