Hi, I recently discovered I can hook up my cell phone to my labtop using a USB cable and it will be a working modem and give me internet connection on the computer. I know that this works, but my main question is will I be billed for the amount of data transfered or will I be billed only cell phone minutes. I need to know this before I purchase the data cable and try to figure out what to do.

I know that with Sprint, it uses cell phone plan minutes only. But I have Cingular as my plan and I have heard that they charge by data, which is extraordinary prices. Any help is appreciated (especially if anyone knows a way to use the minutes only - with Cingular) I have the motorola v220, Thanks a lot.
