access to torrents should be free...that's the whole point of p2p. if you have to pay for it, you're getting the royal screw job. try a free client. there's several in the software section of this site.

you could try downloading some codecs to play the file. on the AD homepage, near the bottom, is the link to the XP codec pack. try that and search for more.
