Hey I need some help backing up Destroy All Humans. I tried Nero...it stops at 18% and got a coaster. I tried reading the disc with DVD Decrypter, but it stopped at 18% also, and said Unrecovered Read Error. I need to know if its the hardware that's messed up or if its the game. Can someone help? The game Destory All Humans works regulary and I recently just backed up NCAA Football 2006. Can someone please help? If anyone can give advice or other methods to try it would greatly appreciated. Something obviously isn't right with your pc. I backed up destroy all humans, and burned it with DVD Decrypter with no problems. So it's your pc. So you said you backed up NCAA 2006, does it work fine being backed up with DVD Decrypter, and work fine with the mod software you play it with on your ps2? Do you think this game is compatible with hd advance?
I used Nero to back up NCAA Football 2006. And used swap magic 3.6. i don't have hd advance, so i wouldn't know...sorri. But does anyone else have any methods to copy Destroy All Humans.
Ya I found out NCAA 06 is fine with the hdd. But use DVD Decrypter to get the iso. Then I have heard to use Alcohol 120 to finish the rest but I don't know how to use that.
there is no special method for that game. it is just a strait up copy process. Your disc may be scratched or have fingerprints on it. Have you tried cleaning the disc? Mine backed up just fine with DVD Decrypter
Yea i tried using DVD Decrypter to get the iso, but that's when it stopped at 18% and said Unrecovered Read Error. The game only has a slight scratch and i cleaned off the fingerprints.
usually if it can not read the whole disc it is due to a scratch.
It does not have to be a big one, just one that the laser can't seem to get past. If you don't have a problem backing up other games then it is not the PC or the program you use, it is the disc.
