PS2 backup with dvd decrypter

I recently bought a PS2 and I'm attempting to make backup copies of my games. I've tried using nero, cdrwin, ultraiso, magiciso, and roxio to burn images of the games. I didn't know about swap magic or a modchip until a few days ago and wasted about 30 dvds trying different applications to make images. Then I tried playing the backup copies and "no data on cd" came up on the tv screen. DVD Decrypter was recommended to me to make backups of the games.

I am really new to ps2 backing up. Could anyway please instruct me on how to backup ps2 games using either dvd decrypter or another program? And also, how to play these games on the ps2 with swap magic. Thanks, I appreciate the help ALOT.

Sure, here are DVD Decrypter instructions on my tutorial page

There may be other useful info there for you to look at.

And along with Swap magic you will also need one more modification to play your back ups.
The old PS2 (chunky) you can use a slide card or get an aftermarket flip top. Flip top cases here---http://www.clearxbox.com/site/pages/cat_ps2ft.html

The new slim you can get the aftermarket flip top or slimtool

These are needed because you can not open up the PS2 in the normal way to swap discs because the PS2 will reset and then you will get the "invalid PS2 Disc" error.
