I've been using DVD decrypter to rip and burn my backup games, but I've run into a couple games that are giving me trouble. Xenosaga I and Kessen III both rip at a size of ~8 gigs each. Obviously I cannot burn this onto a regular DVD. Is there a way to compress or split this so that I can burn these games onto regular dvds. If not, what am I supposed to do? Thanks.

Could someone please point me in the direction of hursty's guide? I've searched for a it a bunch of times and I keep getting huge search results. Does anyone know which thread it is in? Thanks.
I've looked around at some guides on burning duel layered dvd games onto single layered dvd-r's. However, I still cannot use my Kessen III backup. I use swap magic 3.6 with slide card. When I switch out the swap magic disk for the backup kessen, I press load and the screen becomes black...nothing really loads up. Here are the steps I took in making my kessen III .iso file:
1. Rip regular kessen III dvd to harddrive using DVD Decrypter. It came out to a little over 8 gigs.
2. I then used Iso Buster to take the files from the .iso file DVD Decrypter took and put them in a folder. These files totaled to be only about 1.6 gigs. I suspect I may have made a mistake here, since the total file sizes seem too small for a game that was originally 8 gigs.
3. I created a new iso using cdvdgen, putting the files from my previous folder into the iso, in the same order they were in after I used iso buster.
4. I then put the files together created by cdvdgen using apache2. It created an .iso file that was about 1.6 gigs.
5. I then tried burning this iso file to dvd using both Nero and DVD Decrypter. Both of them ended with a dvd that did not load using swap magic.
If someone could tell me where I went wrong, I'd appreciate it. If these instructions were too confusing, I pretty much followed the instructions from this thread...http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/210515 I used the instructions posted by black_ice.
Well, if no one can answer my other questions, could someone just tell me about how big the file I burn to dvd should be when creating a new iso of a game that was originally duel layered?
