strange problem w/ powerdvd5

Whenever I try to play a dvd w/ powerdvd it gives me this error #80040216 and says "an object or name was not found". Whenever I try to play a folder from my hdd it gives me this error #80040265 and says "can not play back the file. the format is not supported". I have deleted the program and reinstalled and it worked ok for a while but now it's back to not working. It's been doing this for a while but since I have windvd6 along with some other players I haven't messed with it. I would still like to know what is up with it. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Have you tried the patch that is out for Power DVD?

You can try that and if that doesnt solve your problems it might have something to do with your video card driver. Have you updated your video card driver lately? If so you could try going back to an older driver and see if that solves your problem..
