I'm literally stealing somebody's post (sorry Brock!) because it sums up my problem so wonderfully.
I have been trying to fix a problem with a verification error on my system for about 2 weeks now. I read through the forum and found some great advice on updating my system, but I am still having the same problem.
Here's what I've done as advised by the forum:
Cleaned out my temp folder
Updated cd-burner & dvd-burner firmware
Downloaded latest ASPI
Decreased burn speed
Closed all other idle programs to make available memory
I'm trying to burn ISO's. They seem to burn just fine, then when I click "Verify written data", it always fails. Then I check the discs and there's nothing on them, or it says "E: not accessable". I must've wasted at least 10 DVD's messing with all the settings, using Nero Express. I have nothing running in the background either. I don't know what to do.
Anything else?
I'm copying my error log file into this message (for this attempt I used Nero Express, but truthfully it happens no matter which I use). If anyone can help, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!
