my ps2's laser prob is a little messed up because even original games sometimes don't boot up and i have to put a lot of pressure just above the DVD tray to get them to load. i have a winrar file that i extract and there is a folder with the files in it of a DVD ps2 game but when i want to burn it i just go to the UDF/ISO mode in Nero and drag and drop the files into the layout right? the thing is what do i name the disc? it is "New" by default and i changed it to "ENTHUSIA" so i can identify it and also so its all caps for better compatibility, will this burn be successful? i use DVD+R 16x from RiData which ihave had 1 successful burn before with Burnout 3 and then i tried to use DVD Decrypter to make an ISO of my GTA: San Andreas and then i burned it at 4x (which is the lowest my burner goes) and it wasnt successful, i got a backup from a friend of the same game and that started up but kept freezing and was unplayable. My original San Andreas starts up and doesn't freeze, but sometimes stutters because of my laser. I tried opening my ps2 and i didn't hav ea phillips screwdriver at the time to i tried to open the plastic cover on the disc tray with another tool and ended up stripping one screw, so that it is completely free of grip now. its one of those very small screws (total 4, 1 stripped) above the DVD tray and now i cant access the lens to clean it and if i send it for repair they might not be able to open it to replace the laser. this is a very unique situation and i couldn't find anything abotu it on the search function so i have this very long post to get some things dealt with. sorry for such a long post if you can helpt wiht anything above plz do so. thanks

okay update, i burned the Enthusia as it was and it started up and then i realized it was PAL (mad flickering w/ black and white screen continuously rolling) lol and I have a NTSC ps2 with a Messiah 2 (as i was told when i got it installed)and i found out that it won't convert PAL to NTSC automatically so i put the disc back in the comp made an ISO with DVD Decrypter and then burned with DVD decrypter after patching for PAL to NTSC and it was successful at 4x. When i put it in the ps2 it didn't load, just like all the other burns done from DVD Decrypter. I burned Burnout 3 from Nero 6 Ultra and that worked perfect, do any of you have an issue with burning from DVD Decrypter? This is going to be my 6th coaster if it fails, so im trying it with Nero this time even though i made the image with DVD Decrypter. I am so frustrated, these discs are so expensive it cost $30 CND for a 25 pack. (RiData 16x 4.7GB DVD+R)i don't know what to do and nobody responded to my post :( maybe i didn't wait long enough oh well....PLZ HELP

3rd update: i burned Enthusia from DVD Decrypter, it didn't start up, i burned it with Nero after using WinISO to extract the contents of the image, and it started up (btw this was after the pal-ntsc patcher) and the playstation 2 logo showed up, but shorter than usual and the sound cut right off, and then a few seconds later the Konami logo showed up and appeared for half a second until the image glitched up and that also displayed for another half a second, afterwards i could hear the sounds but the screen went black, i just saw the menu for a flash of a second and then the screen went black, this happens every single time at the exact same moment, man 6 coasters, and im desperate to backup this game, plz help its been so long no reply :(

Use DVD Decrypter for all my games and have not had a problem.
But is you are always extracting the ISO when burning them then you are going 1 step too far. You will need to do that if it needs to be rebuilt. Not sure about the patcher you use, read up on it, most of the patch the ISO file.
But you just use DVD Decrypter to read the disc and create and ISO & MDS file on your hard drive, then use DVD Decrypter to write the MDS file to your DVD.
