How do i make and then play a backup? What are the things i needs to do?

cheap way;

buy Swap Magic to load backuo
use DVD Decrypter to create your ISO
use good Blank DVD (verbatim,fujifilm,ritek)

more expensive

use a chip (up to you to decide wich one)

hi i have a chipped ps2
i think i know how to patch images because i have all the tools people have mentioned !
i jus wna know if u can make iso images of chipped games and then try to patch them ???
because im making an image of tiger woods 2005 (copied game) and it doesnt find the files that need patching when i try to apply the patch ??

I still need some help. Where do i get Swap Magic? how do i use it? how do i install it, noone ever says step by step what you need to do. will it work with my ps2. i have one of the older models, not a slimline one, but it is almost brand new. i take it apart and clean it monthly. i have decryptor, and two fresh packs of Verbatim's. if someone could help me that would be useful.

here is a DVD Decrypter tutorial on how to make back ups

As mentioned you need a mod chip
or swap magic (3.0 or 3.6) and either a flip top cover, or use a slidecard.
A slidecard you can make(when you get to the link above, there is a tutorial page with how to make one) but it is the harder method. I suggest you go and get a swap magic/flip top combo pack
if you are in the US or Canada, this is the best place. Very fast and reliable.
