HELP, is posting BT downloads links on my forum legal??

hi everyone,
i got a question that has been bothering me for a long time. I have a forum of my own(signed up with a free site).when i discovered some other sites got BT downloads for movies and drama series,i post them in my forum to let my members know where to download them,but i have wondering if that's legal OR illegal?? Don't know what's going on BT right now. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATE.

If those movies are copyrighted then it's illegal. You're basically promoting copyright violation.

I think it more than likely illegal...I would think you would want to be safe than sorry so I would take them down ASAP.
