Is it possible to go to a regular game store or store and buy a mod chip or lets say Swap Magic 3.6 with its flip top?

i do not know of any regular stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, Comp USA, or EB Games that actually sell them.

exactly its bad for there bussniss. y would a store that sells original games worth 50 bucks sell a modchip that only uses 3 bucks worth of dvd+r

Where do you live? I know the big chain stores do not have them - but I know a few mom & pop stores in Southern California that do carry mod supplies.

Anyone in the Washington DC Metro area can look at places like Starland and Pandora's Box for modchips, Swap Magic, Flip tops and all the other goodies. Anyone not in the DC area, sorry, you're ass out. =P
