DVD Decryptor Just Starting

I just started using DVD Decryptor and I dont have swap magic yet. Do I just select ISO and transfer the game to my computer and then burn the ISO as an image on a DVD and then wait till I get swap magic 3.6 and then just pop the backup game in and im done? I just dont want to backup all these games and do something wrong to all of them to where I have to burn them again in order to work with swap magic 3.6 or whatever the latest swap magic is. What is the latest swap magic by the way?

Well I did "ISO" selection, put the game in, it put it on my computer and now its an .mds file. Is it suppose to be in that format before I burn it to a DVD? When I do burn it to a DVD, what should I tell the burning program to do when I burn it? Drag and drop, burn image, etc.

Whoa ok I messed up. The ISO that was put on to my computer was a .mds file which is only 8kilobytes and then a .rar was put in place. Why a rar, isnt it suppose to be an ISO? It is about 1.5 gigs though.

DVD Decrypter just see's an ISO as A RAR file but it's still an ISO. and will burn ok. The MDs is just like a cue file and points to the ISO. I like decrypter because it' simple to use.

----Insert original game---- (mode) ISO Read = start
wait

----Insert blank DVD--- (mode) ISO Write == start

wait

when you do the ISO read it should give you an ISO and MDS file
But they should be the correct size when you put the curson over them to see the information, not a RAR file. I have never had that and have been using DVD Decrypter for years.
Then you burn the MDS file with DVD Decrypter using the ISO write mode.
