What exactly is a slide card and HOW on earth do you use it? No one has ever explained it, theyve just said "You use it to trick your PS2." Well how? Be more specific, like where do you put it, can you break your ps2 doing it etc...

NOTE: The use of the Game Enhancer set will not void your PS2 warranty for versions 1-10. For the new PS2 slimline, the warranty must be voided in order to disable the two sensors.

It said this when selling the slide card and the 2 cd's/ the product (which was similar to swap magic) was being sold. Is that true? I have the latest slim ps2 (model 7000), I thought I didnt have to void my warranty.

I dont know about the slim line slide card, but the one that most talk about is a small plastic piece about 3 inches in size. It's almost square with a fat part to grab onto. On the side opposite the "handle" there's a slight curve on the bottom and a hook on the top. After you take off the front panel of your fat PS2, you slip this in the tray and you'll feel the laser mechanism that you can slide out of the way to open the tray.

The slimline is a different animal and they probably say it voids the warranty because you have to do something to defeats the reset that the PS2 sends out when it's opened. There are 2 sensors that do that, and to get them, you have to open your PS2.... I'm guessing.

Just save yourself the trouble and get a fliptop. Way more worth it then the trouble of a slidecard.

slide card is only used for none slim ps2s...it hooks onto teh disc tray so u can pull it out without hitting teh eject button...and its too much of a hassle so i just got a fliptop instead of messing with the slide card liek people said to

but u have teh slim line and it uses teh ghost switch technique which is little plastic pieces that cover sensors and is easy to install except for one from which i hear peopel have had trouble with....just stick with swap magic and dont go cheap

Ok so I should get swap magic. But about this fliptop thing. So I should not get a slide card for my slim PS2. I should get a flip top? Is that the new "top" of the ps2 that flops open when you press the open button? So would I unscrew the old one and put on the new one? And so some how the new top tells the PS2 to play the backup?

Another thing. If I get a ghost top, first off, how do I put it on? I dont see any screws on my slim ps2. And second, if I just want to play a normal ps2 game, (the original) can my ps2 still play it with ghost top on it? Or can I play only backups with the ghost top?

Thanks stunt. Do you live in the USA cause the site looks british. I was wondering how long shipping took and does it work with every backup game? Which shipping is best or how long does it take: economy or priority?
