ok heres my problem, on my ps2 is getting harder than before to load ps2 games, i have magic v3 modchip, my ps2 is v7 i think. The ps2 is also making a weird sound when it tries to load the dvd game backup. but when it got it it runs like a charm, really im worried, =( any suggestions will be apreciated. For how much a tech would fix me that problem? (not sony, they will break my ps2 on my face) ;o

please can someone help me? btw i used memorex at first but now im using verbatim . and the minium is 2.4x. i dont know if its the len that is damaged because the cd runs fine after the ps2 logo, its just to the ps2 know the dvd. =(.

it this just with back ups, or originals too?
If it happens with DVD originals then it may
be that the laser is going bad.
hard to tell since we can't tell what sound it
is making by reading posts.
You can have it fixed by any number of online
sites that can install new lasers and such

are you using DVD Decrypter?if so could you post the decrypter log?
