Need help downloading music onto my PSP

okay... you all are going to think i'm stupid or something after this because there are so many topics on this forum... but i need help.

i've followed everyone's instructions, but it says that the device malfunctioned (when they say that a bubble comes up and says new hardware, but no malfunction). no driver comes up for this, but i have no idea why not. do i have to format my memory stick on my PSP from the settings menu? that's the only thing i can think of right now...

please help!

sounds like your memory stick needs to be formatted using the psp once that is done you will get a directory called

i:\psp\music

just copy all of your music into there

also are you running windows xp or 98 microsoft has just stoped supporting windows 98 so you now have to go to windows xp if this doesn't work

im having some trouble dl all my music is on realplayer and i dont know how to get it on my psp i cant even see it when i try to put songs own.
