Problems burning a DVD+R with Nero 5.5.9.17

Hopefully somebody's been through a similar situation and can help! After authoring my DVD I'm trying to burn my disc in Nero, and if I use a DVD+RW everything works great! But if I try to burn a DVD+R it isn't recognized by standalone player and DVD drive (invalid format). I tried DVD-ROM (UDF) and DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) with UDF 1.02 / physical partition.

Any ideas what my prob could be ? TIA

Go to nero.com and get the 5.5.10.7 update. Burn as DVD-ROM ISO.

thx for the hint. Got 5.5.10.7b (patched) from nero.com. I'll check that out and let you know the results.

your settings didn't work for me (got "disk error") but I figured out settings that AT LAST produced a DVD+R that played in 3 SAs without any probs:

Nero 5.5.10.7b (nero.exe 01/24/2003)

DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO)
1. No Multisession
2. ISO Level 1
ISO9660
Joilet UNCHECKED
Relax ISO Restrictions UNCHECKED
3. UDF 1.02 / Physical Partition
Force DVD-Video Compatibility for XBox UNCHECKED
4. Label max. 11 Characters Uppercase
5. Booktype DVD UNCHECKED

Thanks anyway for your help, seems as if my Nero version was the main cause for my probs.
