Can someone explain to me how the swap method works? On a website I found one and saw that it is a disc, but how do you use it? Thank you.

I'll try to help you out. You have to purchase swap magic discs from a website or a person for around $25-$30. Once you have the set of discs, one for playing PS2 CD backups and the other for playing PS2 DVD backups, you insert the the swap magic into the ps2 like you would do with a game. The disc stops spinning in the ps2 and and a screen comes up that says to load program. Now you can use either a slide card or a flip top to load your backups. A slide card is a simple piece of plastic that opens the PS2 tray manually. You have to take the faceplate off of the ps2 disc tray in order to use the slide card. It comes off easily like a clip. A flip top has to be installed by removing the top of your ps2 box and replacing it with the flip top, which is relatively easy. After that you insert your backup by whichever method you choose from the two, and your backup will load if you use the right type of media and method.

Go to the PS2 General Discussion area and read the stickies:
