I'm running the independance day exploit on my PS2, using Cogswap to boot one of my games (Namco X capcom)

I used DVD decrypter to burn it at 1X to a Phillips DVD+R, and used cogswap in order to load it..it plays. Though there is incredibly long load times (about three to five minutes of load time for about 1 minute of actual game play)

I'm wondering what the problem could be. Could it have been a bad rip I downloaded? Or could it be a simple problem in the burning process? I'm trying to find out what it is so I know if I have to find an importer because finding the actual game is impossible for me it seems.

try rebuilding the ISO
That helped on the game that had bad load times for me.
Philips discs i use all the time, but i use +R for movies and -R for my games. The -R seem to work better.
I also use 8X speed.
Try also burning it at 4X if you use 8X discs.
