i was just wondering when downloading movies from limewire which format file is the best ie: mpg,avi,wmv.?

i have another problem when i downloaded the longest yard ( avi file)
i click on it to watch it and the windows media player comes up and a box opens up saying "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." i have the divx and xvid codec and the latest edition of windows media player its media player 10 PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT

avi definetely usually crisp picture. if u type in the name of movie and then put AVI at the end it will come up. note that u shud look for the ones about 700mB- these are the better quality ones

I NO WMP IS SH1IIIIIIT FOR VIDEOS. I RECOMMENS SWITCHIN 2 REAL PLAYERu can play any videos AVI DivX no problem. or get vlc media player. peace
