I have just downloaded the 2.0 firmaware version for the Japanese unit and all is cool. Can access some coroporate webmail etc which is very funky but I want to know more about the OS the PSP is running. Could streaming audio work by using some real audio etc... program and is there anything like that avabile to work with the PSP? So little on the web as far as answers.... Could meesenger work without a Microsoft platform?

no there is no streaming application for the psp version 2.00 firmware but there is a psp web portal thingy you can download any where that plays homebrew on your psp version 2.00 firmware
