Ifoedit error while authoring

I'm getting a strange error in ifoedit when trying to author certain movies. It begins remuxing the files just fine and somewhere around half-way it gives me an error along the lines of: "Internal Error: data required but space not available on the buffer"

I have tracked the problem down to an audio issue, but I'm not sure why it's happening. If I downmix the ac3 file to a lower bitrate and reauthor, the problem goes away, however, audio sync screws up around the error point in playback then.

Has anyone run into this before and know what the problem might be? I've tried everything I can think of to get it working with no luck.

I did not have very good luck authoring with ifoedit. I kept getting errors and sync problems. I had to switch to Maestro, but I'm glad I did. It is a much better authoring program.
