Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered before, I did look but couldn't find anything.

I've got a couple of PSP MP4 files that I want to convert back to .avi or even mpeg-1/2. I've searched and better searched, but can't find a program to do this. I've got MP4ui, which I used for a regular MP4 file, but it won't work for the PSP ones; tells me there's no video file.

Anyone know of a program, or even a long-winded proccess, I can use?

Are you sure you're taking the correct file to convert to AVI?. If you use a program to convert TO MP4 (like PSP Video9), it creates 2 files on your PSP directory. One is the actual MP4 and the other is the image the PSP uses to display what video it is before selecting (thumbnail).

Can I also ask why you want to do this.? there may be some other approach to what you want to do.

Hi,

Thanks for the links, but I've tried all the searching, with no luck. I downloaded River Past, but that only converts regular MP4 files. It, again, tells me there's no video steam. :(

I want to convert them back to .AVI as I've downloaded them thinking they were regular MP4 files and now I can only watch them on my laptop instead of being able to burn them to a VCD!
