Used Windows media encoder to capture video and burned to dvd with Nero Vison. Picture came out great, but looks like the letterbox broadcasts. Don't know if my mistake was in capture or dvd setup, how can I get pic to fit the entire tv screen? Thx

Well if you make a DVD with an 16:9 Aspect ratio and Play it on a Regular 4:3 TV Set it will Play Letterboxed.....

If you capture in 4:3 and Author to DVD in 4:3 then it should Play Fullscreen on a regular Tv set....

Hi Minion, redid the file in 4:3 aspect ratio and it still plays in ltrbx. Is there something wrong with my capure setup? Am using Windows Media 9 to capture, but there are a lot of choices I do not understand, and cannot seem to find the answers. I use Nero Vision to burn because it seems easyier to figure out, but it will not recognize my capture (USB)device. Am just starting out in the Video Capture so some of settings are probably wrong. Any thoughts?

Well make sure you are Captureing at 720+480 which is the Standard DVD Resolution...If you capture at say 640+272 then when the File gets resized to DVD Resolution Black Bars are added because 640+272 doesn"t Resize to 720+480 properly...

What resolution are you Captureing to???

Minion, original was capturd at 1280X720, will try recapture at 720X480. Thx for your help, again and will let you know how this one turns out.
