My friend recieved one of these warning letters from an ISP provider and he deleted his P2P programs and has stopped dl files. He was using Shareaza and Azureus just thought I would let people know that these aren't safe or anonymous.

lol lots of ppl get letters means nothing unless the stupid mpaa or iraa sue you but your ip isn't allowed to give personal info away so he is safe to be safer your friend should download less, and add somthing like pear gurdian.

They said warner bros found that from his Mac address he dl C&C Factory and that the IP Optimum threatened that if he continued or if they find more violations they will shut down his modem.

well tell him not to do it anymore then. and also, tell him to delete all his p2p/torrent applications. then he will be fine. by the way we know its you. :P no need for the 'friend' stuff lol
