Several problems with RatDVD

1) Have 3 computers. RatDVD rips (well mostly, see next items) on 2 just fine that have the DVD drives. The third one has no DVD drive, but has RatDVD installed so Windows Media Player will work, but it wont. WMP on the two taht RIP fine play ratdvd fine. But on teh third, it searches for a codec, then says codec not found. I get sound, but no picture. Ive seen this posted by several users on this forums so far - exact same symptoms, but no real answer. It is not WMP Media Edition. The reason I rip them is the two with DVDs are laptops, and the one thats not and iwthoud DVD has a nice big screen and good speakers.

2) RatDVD crashes a LOT during ripping. And considering a rip can take up to 12 hours this is very bad. Im ripping mostly unencrypted DVD's, but on about 75% (yes 75%) of these DVDs it just AV's somehwere during the rip. Is it really this unreliable?

3) Most of tehse same DVD's that ratdvd AV's on rip find with DVDFab or DVDShrink. But some have bad spots - ie one preview is bad, or maybe just 10 seconds of the main film. Is there any way to get ratDVD or ANY OTHER TOOL to just skip these small bad sectinos - and myab put in a marker "this section bad, 10 seconds" or something.
