I am trying to make a dvd of a television series i have downloaded. I have converted the files using divx2dvd. I then opened up the files with dvdshrink but there is no need for compression as the total size of the files is 4.066 gigs. the are listed as 7 diferent tracks which i beleive is right since there are 7 different episodes.
The problem is when i try to use nero vision express 2 (came with my drive), I can get 4 files on but when i try to add the 5th it is over the limit and drops the video quality. When I add the 7th it drops it again to slp. I went ahead and burnt the disc but the picture becomes pixlated at some points that it looks terrible.
Why does this happen if all the episodes were small enough to fit on a disc in dvd shrink.
somebody please help out a newb.
thanks in advance

sorry, i could have sworn that i'd replied already. You probably just need to tweak some settings. post your Nerovision log, i think it's in c:\program files\ahead\nerovision\nerovision.txt or maybe in c:\documents and settings\<username>\etc etc etc , but DO NOT post your serial number, which usually begins with '1A21' or similar

- the biggest a-ha by far. You're using THE most appalling, atrocious terrible quality discs there are. use decent discs such as Verbatim datalifeplus

no worries. it's easy, the hardest bit is buying some good discs, updating the bits n' pieces is the easy (cheap!) bit. good luck and let me know how you get on
