greeting's one and all

my name is john and currently im working on a way to downgrade a psp using a eboot file instead of some other nasty means

anyways

my daily activitys i decided to post here because im getting close to be able to downgrade version 2.00 back to version 1.52 and if this works then i can successfully downgrade any psp by using a modified eboot file and im close and i do mean close

to day i tried my first eboot file from a psprunning firmware 2.00 i got as far as the system update screen then i get a error the data is coruppted error so i will keep on trying im so close i could taste victory so look for more updates here

Well after a lot of work and trying i found out some pretty amazing things!!

1. the psp cannot be downgraded with a eboot.pbp file this is due to the psp file inside the boot pbp called param.sfo it contains a updater installer version specific to what ever os you are installing now all though this will not be able to run psp based games and homebrew this may lead to running psp linux or psp mac os
directly on the system

so trial and failer but i shall continue to try
