Hi all, can anyone tell me what 'bit' a PS3 will be? What about xbox 360? Or am i so outta the loop that we dont even talk in 'bits' anymore?? As you can tell, im not extremely computer literate. I mean, i know my way around one but am no Bill Gates. I would assume that a PS3 will be 256 Bit? But would like someone who knows more about it to confirm it. Cheers.

The PS2 was the last system to use the bit thing the 300 Mhz 128 bit "Emotion Engine"

Gamecube uses Microprocessor Unit: Custom IBM Power PC "Gekko"

Xbox uses Custom-designed chip, developed by Microsoft and nVidia

I was always led to believe that 32bit was soemthing to do with number of available colours. Please tell me if i'm wrong, but in that respect isn't 32bit as high as it goes???

Please somebody finally explain how it works cus i've had nintendo down as s**t talkers ever since the N64!

....am I stupid? ...probably.

Oh my god, it's another chair... hay, I am a chair
