Hi
I have recently recieved a cyclic redundancy error message when tryin to back up " The Forgotten ".This disc is fine and plays on all my players and PC.I used Clone DVD with Any DVD.
Is this a security feature on the disc.I heard of people having trouble with other discs from the same company ( Columbia ).
Is there a way round it?

AnyDVD should be able to handle this disc. I used it and recode. Sounds like you may have a scratched/dirty disc or a bad press. Try cleaning off the dsic - if that doesn't work exchange for a new one.

hello Gazman55 I like binkie have done the title w/out flaw using just the dynamic duo of dvdd & dvds. But not that long ago I was put in my place. a lot of ppl where having prob's with these columbia titles
they did find a work around though cutting out the pic of lady lib. seems to have been the magic bean that allowed them to back-up the titles
but it sounds to me that you are having trouble decrypting so this will not help you the disc might be damaged even though you can view it as decrypting and viewing are two different things.

you might try movie only I'm not sure about clone but in decrypter click on tools>settings then click the file tab and in the first box change default from all to main movie try it out and see if this works just remember to change it back when you are through as decrypter will use this as default if the next time you use it.
