I want to compress a audio stream into a mp3 to create a avi file and it said that no decompressor was found to decompress this source audio can someone tell me how to solve this problem.

These are the steps I took. It was a mkv file.

Streams - stream list - choose the stream audio I wanted to save - full processing mode - compression - lame mp3 as I wanted to save it as a mp3 file - save wave then named it XXXX.mp3 but the message no decompressor was found to decompress this source audio came up. How can I solve this as this has never happened to the previous mkv files I converted.

The information on the audio stream was:

Sampling rate: 22050 Hz
Channels: 2 (stereo)
Sample precision: N/A
Audio tag: Tag: 0x000 not decodeable microsoft unknown wave format
Compression: unknown (tag 0000)
Layout: indeterminate
Length: 37791158 samples (28:33:88)
Min/Avg/Max total frame size: indeterminate

So can someone please help me analyse this as I am not a expert on it. If this helps I was trying to convert a anime named ranma OVA's so if anyone got to make this work please post the solution please.
