Why would you wanna burn a DVD5 to DVD9? DVD5 is at least 5-10 times cheaper than DVD9. Anyway, should be just like burning a DVD5 to DVD5 as you will not be accessing the second layer on the DVD9...

Hi there,
With DVD5 media being so cheap, I also don't know why people ask:
Can I fit 2-3 DVDs on 1 disk ?
Man, just put 1 per disk, they cost like $0.40 each, cheaper than a huge bubble gum HAHAHA !
If you wish to have 2 x DVD5 to 1 x DVD9 , you can probably use DVDShrink and the "Re-Author" feature.
Guess you will loose all your menus and all, but you will fit 2 main movies on 1 x DVD9 at a high price :)
My 3.5 cents, cause I use DVD5 and have lots a money left :)
