JVC TH-R1 factory reset needed

I recently purchased a JVC TH-R1. Whilst playing about with the "set up" menu, I some how managed to disable the scart link from the DVD player to the TV. I've checked all the connections 3 times so it isn't that. I've been through the instruction manual twice now and that is no help either...even trying to guess where the cursor is on screen. Tried disconnecting the power over night too but still no joy! Have looked up the JVC website for factory resets but that model isn't listed (even tried resets for other models but nope!) Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?
