Anyone here ever tried those banners you see on websites where you sell your identity and get spammed silly all for a psp or something? I was thinking of trying one of them out. I'd welcome any advice that is offered or horror stories about it you have.
No dont do those, my friend did that on my moms computer (because he is a retard) and f***** my moms computer up. My sister had to reinstal the basic windows apps.

don't believe that. I got my PSP using 1 of those ad's. It worked fine and was COMPLETELY free
Some of them actually work, but you have to sign up for offers from their sponsors. They usually require credit cards, but you can sign up for free offers then cancel for whatever you signed up for before they charge. But then you have to get like 10 people to do the same thing under your reference before they send it out. Time consuming process...
Pretty much what V13T said. I started to do one of those and got lazy and didn't get anyone else to sign up. My advice is to signup and try to get your referrals before you signup for anything with your credit card. Most of the offers don't actually charge you anything as long as you cancel in time. If it turns out you have a knack for getting people to sign up for stuff then you can actually make decent money of selling referrals. There's a ton of sites where you can sign up to do so.
BTW, if you signup for the psp offer or anything else, make sure you don't go spamming people and posting on message boards with your ad. People don't want to read that and nobody wants to pay to host your ad,
