Can anyone tell me the difference of the following please.
When I use Azureus I dont get speeds over 20kbs with green faces,
But when I use bearshare the speed is 400+kbs.
Are they similar or are the different.
I also use emule,donkey,Limewire all very low speeds compared to bearshare why is Bearshare so fast?
Would like stay away from bearshare cause of fakes and viruses but the speed always lures me back.
Have been downloading a file on Azureus for 4 days now driving me insaine.
Would love some ideas.

Ports, firewall all open have all green faces just would like a bit of info no need to get nasty!!!!

um i have the same prob but my bt speed is around 80kb and my bearshare is 1mbpb(bearshare goes around 2mbps when my router is off)
i don't use my router when i use bt and i don't usually use a firwall when downloading lol y the speed decrease isn't bt suppose to be faster?

One lesson:
Do not put even network cable to computer without firewall (at least use Windows XP SP2 firewall)

U can get virus if u just have network on and no protection...
