well i decided we needed this forum so here it is

1.is the psp firmware version 2.00 web browser fast

answer= depends on what type of router and connection you have


2. does the psp web browser ever run out of memory

answer=yes because the psp web browser doesn't have support for macromedia flash and because it doesn't have this you get a occasional out of memory error


3. can i use the firmware 2.00 japanese version on my us psp

answer=yes and sony has already announced that if you downloaded and installed version 2.00 firmware from japan the us version will upgrade it to the us version firmware 2.00


4.i heard that there is homebrew out on the psp version 2.00 is this true

answer=yes and no there is no real homebrew but there is what is called a pspportal which allows you to run homebrew based web games that don't have to be connected to the internet to use but the links to goole and aol have to be connected to the internet

5.new video features where announced are they still in place on this update

answer= yes there is now a nice forward and backwards command
no they haven't made it so you can watch umds from japan yet

Man, I'd love to get the 2.0 update when it hits the US, but I'm just not ready to give my my bookreader yet. If I did, I'd have to go back to reading on my GBA.
