During the pass few month where i'm just using a btdownloadgui, normal bittorrent client, usual speed could go up to 100kb/s.
after i tried bitcomet, the speed totally went down to below 10kb/s, after that i tried azureus, same thing happen like bitcomet. I tried uninstalling both the client and went back to the normal bittorrent client. Gosh, the speed is like bitcomet or azureus. I'm using a starhub cable broadband in singapore. I read about portforwarding issues, which i totally got confuse. And one thing is that i could not start the window firewall.

anybody could help?

i'm not using a router, i direct connect to my cable modem.
