Hi. I have 2 TDK 840G on my pc and one of them started to burn only at 1.1x max. Before I was able to burn 4x or sometimes 6x but now it gets stuck at 1.1x. I've had it for about a couple of years now and was wondering if there's something I need to do or just replaced it. Any input would be appreciated. Oh BTW the other drive still burns at 4x or more. Thanks.

I have an 840g also. I had the same problem a while back. Try going to the TDK website and get a firmware update. If that doesn't work try different media.
