Hi to all,
I believe that this type of thread has been posted before however it didn't really help me. Since i'm new to this forum, i would like to say what's up to everyone, and it's nice to know that people like to help the way you all do.
Now one thing is really killing me at the moment and after reading many many posts i still can't figure it out.
I would like to say that i have a wireless connection on my laptop, i have a wireless router which provides me my internet connection ADSL.(let me add that my wireless router is hardwired to my laptop.) Now just to settle things down with the connections, My xbox works GREAT with Xlink. Now, here is my problem with my psp. My psp is connected just fine for browsing and networking updates, however the thing will just not connect to my xlink!?. Why? I mean Kai station can see my psp, it detects it however, during the searching of games, i can't join and no one sees me. At the kai thingi under my name it says 1 Sony. Which means it is detected. What is wrong? Please who ever knows what and how to fix the problem, give me a step by step process , i'm not too keen in networking and stuff so i'll need some patience and help.
Id like to add that i have tried the adhoc mode! channel 1, blah blah, nothing still works.
By the way, i read that you need to flash your router. However, i don't have the specific routers they talk about. I have a Planet wireless router, don't know the actual specifics of it. Please tell me that i don't need to get a router that supports it and that's the only way to play online! please don't
And one more thing, is there a way to play online! i repeat online! without the use of the tunneling service? I mean if i'm in greece, can i connect with others in other countries and play? I understand only wipe out pure and Twisted metal support this? please correct me if i'm wrong!
So once again, my problems are playing online with my psp and using Xlink....thank you.
