Hello everyone, I was wondering does the government keep track of what you are downloading on the internet from P2P programs? I have Limewire and I always uninstall it after I have finished downloading my music or movies because Im always worried that the FBI or somebody else might be tracking what I donwload. But i also heard that there only tracking down people who are sharing ther files not downloading. Can someone please clear this up for me, Thanks.

the only ppl monetering you is your ISP and the don't ever get mad

Man, hes a newbie, no need to take the piss. U can get caught file sharing, hence the reason why 14 000 p2pers have been sued. The fbi would prolly onli get involved if its child porn or shit like that. But the RIAA (recording industry association of America) can catch u downloading /uploading. If u just keep ur dloading and uploading reasonable, you?ll b fine. Im lucky, only 3000 ppl have been sued outside the U.S! :D
